About Andrea –
Owner/Art and Design Specialist
Since the early age of three-years old, Andrea has always had a fascination with drawing and sketching. Her childhood of creative" doodling, " however, has long since evolved into a more mature and modern articulation and expression of her visual canvas.
Andrea’s passion for artistic impressions early on lead her to study Commercial Art & Fashion Design in high school. She then continued on to study Fashion Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City while painting murals for children’s rooms and even on cars (Yes, air-brushing cars was a growing trend in the 1970s.) Soon after, Andrea married and started a family, and as a stay-at-home mom, decided to put her career and dream as an artist on pause.
Fast-forwarding to the present, she has re-engaged herself into the world of artistry to pursue her passion and proudly introduces to you – SANFIO DESIGNS – where ‘art’ is not just ‘art,’ but a unique illustration of one’s self to share with the world.
Andrea is a member of the International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL) and a certified Faux Finisher/ Decorative Designer. She prides her work in providing only the best for her customers by translating their imaginative thoughts into profound works of artistic interpretation.

Sanfio Designs LLC is a licensed and insured, family-owned and operated business located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We specialize in decorative wall and surface finishes, custom window treatments, hand-painted furniture and finishes, and custom trim and moulding.
We have been serving clients throughout Northern Virginia and Richmond since 1995.
